These are the best of the best so far from all across North America! Sites that would be a great place to start when searching for Halloween. If you know of one that's not here, let me know. Links will open in a new window. In no particular order:

  1. Haunted Hamilton.com - This is a great Canadian web site for Hamilton, Ont. Lots of info about real haunted places and Halloween events in and around Hamilton.

  2. Rue-Morgue Magazine - While not specifically about Halloween, this slick magazine about the horror genre is incredible, and so is their web site. If you can't find a copy of the mag at the store, you can subscribe online.

  3. Halloween Online - The official site for Halloween! Articles, Tips, Tricks, and Online Shopping. (US site)

    Click to visit Halloween Online!

  4. Halloween Central - Links to halloween related sites organized in convenient categories. A good haystack in which to find your Halloween needle! Offers e-postcards.

  5. Global Halloween Alliance - Resources for Halloweenites around the world, plus "Happy Halloween" magazine.

  6. Horrorfind.com - A searchable database of everything having to do with horror. Looking for a movie to watch, a book to read, info about a particular monster? Check here.

  7. The Real Origins of Halloween - This is the best essay I have seen so far on the web about the origins of halloween. This gentleman discusses everything from the history of halloween, to misconceptions about halloween, to the position of christians on halloween. While he may be biased because of his interest in all things pagan, I have yet to see anyone refute him. Remember, always keep an open mind when reading anything.

  8. 13th Track.com - When I set out to find an all Halloween - all the time - web radio station, I never thought I'd actually find one! Who knew?

  9. Hauntworld.com - Damn. This is the web site I wish I'd written!

  10. Monster List Of Links to Halloween Do-It-Yourself Projects - I believe the name says it all! Over 500 projects, this is Mecca! (Part of Mark Butler's Creep Zone)
